Throughout her career, the tones of Romanian songstress Adina Butar have resonated far beyond the borders of her beloved Romania. Embracing the mantra of travel broadening the mind, her continual encounter with one city in particular inspired her towards lyrical composition, based on her own experiences in the municipal.

Already having an affection for the big apple, her interests spiked further through a live performance during the initial run of Markus Schulz's Watch the World album tour. Surrounded by friends and colleagues, her experience of being swept away by the NYC surroundings became too hard to ignore, and the piece New York City (Take Me Away) was born.
